Reflecting on Our Transformative Centered Leader Certification Retreat in Santa Fe

In the heart of the serene Isle of Light Estate in Santa Fe, New Mexico, we hosted an intimate gathering of exceptional leaders from July 12th to 14th, 2024, for our Centered Leader Certification retreat. This event brought together a select group of high-level leaders, including members from Forbes Top 50 Over 50, influential leaders from Adobe, and even team members of George R.R. Martin. Their shared commitment to growth and purpose made this a truly extraordinary experience.

Over three days, we immersed ourselves in the tranquil beauty of Santa Fe, allowing space for both rigorous learning and reflective pauses. Our guests enjoyed nourishing, thoughtfully curated meals that complemented the atmosphere of rejuvenation and balance. This environment allowed time for true integration of the practices, with the landscape of Isle of Light inspiring moments of clarity and peace.

Our curriculum began by centering on self, an essential foundation for authentic leadership. Participants explored tools for emotional resilience and methods for navigating internal dialogue, allowing them to cultivate a deeply rooted sense of calm and self-trust. As we transitioned to centering within one’s sphere, we delved into strategies for setting healthy boundaries and conducting powerful conversations. These tools are designed to increase cooperation, build harmony, and strengthen relationships within teams—skills that resonate with the core purpose of these leaders.

One of the most moving parts of the event was our closing graduation ceremony. In this tearful, heartfelt celebration, each participant received their certification in a moment that honored not only their commitment to this journey but also their courage to lead with intention and heart. The bonds formed over these three days created a community of support and empowerment that will continue far beyond the retreat.
